Located within Iguaçu National Park, facing one of the most breathtaking natural landscapes in the world, the Belmond Hotel das Cataratas is one of the great icons of luxury hospitality in South America. With its historic architecture and an experience deeply connected to nature, the hotel has built, over the decades, an identity defined by elegance, exclusivity, and a strong appreciation of its surroundings.

THE CHALLENGE
Designing uniforms for a historic brand requires sensitivity and respect for its legacy. Unlike projects where we support the creation of a brand from the ground up, in this case the challenge was not to build a new identity, but to preserve a visual narrative already established over time.
The project needed to maintain the signature elegance of the Belmond experience, while incorporating modernity, functionality, and durability into the garments.
Another key factor was the environment itself. Located within an ecological reserve, the hot and humid climate demands uniforms with high breathability, thermal comfort, and resilience to withstand the intensity of daily operations.
THE SOLUTION
Based on this strategic understanding, we developed for the housekeeping team a uniform featuring an exclusive print designed by Dash Creative Studio.
The pattern was created to establish a connection between three central elements of the hotel experience: the people who are part of the operation, the lush surrounding nature, and the brand’s timeless elegance.
Fabrics were carefully selected to ensure breathability, comfort, and durability, meeting both environmental conditions and operational demands.
THE RESULT
The result is a set of uniforms that balance tradition and contemporaneity—pieces that respect the heritage and identity of the Belmond Hotel das Cataratas, while introducing a modern and functional approach to the team’s image.
